- 6 cups water
- 3 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup dried fruit
- 1 tsp spice mix (posted separately) or cinnamon
- ¼ salt (optional)
- Bring water to a boil.
- Reduce heat; add remaining ingredients.
- Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat and let stand (5-10 minutes).
- Serve.
