Oats (v1.0)

Ingredients:
  • 6 cups water
  • 3 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup dried fruit
  • 1 tsp spice mix (posted separately) or cinnamon
  • ¼ salt (optional)
Directions:
  1. Bring water to a boil.
  2. Reduce heat; add remaining ingredients.
  3. Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Remove from heat and let stand (5-10 minutes).
  5. Serve.
This is based on a six serving recipe, but realistically, this lasts me four mornings.
